Beach Soap Dish
Created by using a huge 4 inch by 2 inch bar of soap and simply attaching two shells to the soap by applying downward pressure. The grooves on the shells will sink their way into the bar.
Painting a small coral sponge that was garnered from a local beach by using your color of choice. Here we used a metallic pink rose spray paint by Rust-Oleum to complete the desired summer theme.
Beach Side Centerpieces
The above images show how we used simple items that you may be able to find in your home or yard like a handful of sand, and some river rocks or stones.
The sand was sprinkled on the candle top along with a simple beach shell. You may also choose to paint the rock with a color of choice to match your decor scheme. All these were displayed graciously in a glass candle holder stand.
These are used as summer centerpieces for indoor dining or outdoor patio,porch and or balcony setting.
Simply Foliage
Above we have a few greenery foliage and fresh flower cuts that you can get directly from your yard. Some birds of paradise in a square glass vase set the perfect tone for this outdoor center piece.
we love to use foliage from the garden like these snake plant greenery especially in the summer time as we prune back some of the plants. Simply place the fresh cuts into a vase of choice and add a drop or two of plant food.
We learned that by adding some plant fertilizer,it kept the foliage from browning for at least 4 weeks.

Something Fishy
For this years theme we came across this beautiful fish shaped decorative vase. The generous opening at the mouth of the vase allowed us to use medium to small sized river rocks, glass stones, seashells and small samples of body care items.
This vase has some considerable weight to it and therefore added the perfect touch to the bathroom decor and makeover.
